The Client: Conceptual Design
The Design:The Trading Post is a fictitious small company that imports coffee beans from the Colombian region of Paisa, where the best coffee in the world is produced. Trading Post makes sure that farmers can maintain and sustain a decent and dignified livelihood. They envision a coffee industry that uses only fair trade, organic, and sustainable beans. They want to empower the small farmer and stop the exploitation of larger coffee companies.
The coffee represents the product as well as the balance between the company and the Colombian coffee farmers they work with. The logotype uses a rustic and earthy typeface. It shows the company as organic and rustic.
